About us

京都カルチャーサークルとして、日本文化紹介及び体験教室を企画してまいりました。外国から京都に来られるたくさんの方々に紹介し、ご縁を頂き京都での滞在を楽しんでいただいたことと思います。おかげをもちまして、帰国後も連絡をいただいたり、世界につながりができました。さらに、日本文化を紹介・体験を進めていく上で、よりたくさんの外国の方に京都での滞在を喜んでいただき、また京都のすばらしさをより多くの方々に知って頂きたく思っています。そこで、日本文化紹介・体験に従事する方の人材育成等をひろげる為、「京都カルチャーネットワーク」と改名いたしました。今後とも皆様とネットワークを広げてまいりたいと思っています。何卒よろしくお願い申し上げます。

Under the name of Kyoto Culture Circle, we planned introductions to Japanese culture and classes where people could experience Japanese culture for themselves. We introduced aspects of Japanese life to many visitors coming to Kyoto from abroad, and successfully helped them enjoy their stay here. We have been lucky to have maintained contact with many after they returned home and have formed ties around the world. Furthermore, through this introduction of Japanese culture and experience, we have been able to show to many people the true beauty of Kyoto. Accordingly, we changed our name to Kyoto Culture Network in order to represent the growing number of skilled people behind these cultural enterprises.
